Environmental Bike Tour

In January 13 we organized a environmental bike tour. The Tour took place in the central streets of Yerevan City.

Over 20 people were taking part in the tour and all of them had environmental posters. The posters were about our

anxiety concerning green places becoming less, Teghut catastrophe; anomaly birth amount increase, dirty air, as well

as we were promoting the bicycle as ecologically healthy vehicle.

Trip to Teghut

In December we organized a tour to Alaverdi and Teghut. We took interested people to see Teghut their own eyes. We

took photos, had a talk to villagers and got acquainted with the catastrophic situation.

After our Teghut trip we began to work on spreading the information in our country, to present the problems of nature

that is our biggest problem. We made a webpage www.bigfamily.am/eco where everyone could have information

about Teghut, other environmental problems in Armenia and similar problems in all over the world.

2007, Oct 15 Protest against destruction of "Symphony of stones"

2007, Nov 06 Bike Tour "Stop Destroying Natural Monuments of Universe"

With our active participation (demonstration, bike tour to Garni) the vandalism concerning Symphony of Stones in

Garni was stopped. Thanks to these actions the Symphony of Stones was registered in the list of monuments being

saved by the Government.
